Early evening and vehicles arriving into the small Arriva depot in Richmond in May 2003 with numerous Metroriders such as 2605 L605FHN, an Optare Delta in the distance, and a Dart 1614 S614KHN on loan from the parent Darlington depot.
This depot would close in March 2006.
The sunset this evening was pretty intense...I was trying to have a nice casual, shooting-free evening since I was with my best friend and Disney buddy...but I had to bring out the camera for this shot.
As we kept walking, the colors kept getting more and more intense. I snapped a shot here or there, but nothing worthwhile. Then it finally clicked in me....GET YOUR ASS TO SPACESHIP EARTH RIGHT THE HELL NOW. So I told my friend I'd meet her up there and RAN like I've never run at Epcot.
Out of breath, pain in my side, I finally got to SSE....a minute too late. I snapped a few, and they are alright, but my hesitation really cost me. Alas.
That's what I get for trying to get out of my photographers mentality for the evening! Haha
It's just as well, because I love how this one came out. The "rorschach test" feel is something i always strive for in these Epcot lagoon wide shots, but it doesn't ever work out in an interesting enough manner for me....til now!

November sunset.
A sun pillar, or light pillar, above the setting sun. It is caused by ice crystals reflecting the light of sun. Very similar to long light streaks on water surfaces that are actually reflections of light spots on the shore, only this one is upside down. It is a type of halo phenomenon.

The sidewalks in Savannah seem magical at night with the silvery gray spanish moss hanging overhead.
Another shot I made on our visit to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center for their Luminations celebration this past weekend. This shot took a lot of work as there were a LOT of people moving through this area and I had to expose the shot for 25 seconds to get enough light on my camera's sensor at the low ISO I was using. Would have loved to have been there after all the visitors left for a private shot of this scene, but the long exposure allowed me to ghost out most of the people walking through here.
