The weather here today is dull wet & dreary so I thought I'd post something a little more cheerful. This was taken on a beautiful sunny evening in August but it was only a short time while it lasted. I saw this decided to stop and then thought I might get a sunset as the light was so nice but at sunset time there was a thick bank of clouds over the horizon! Hope you are enjoying some sunshine in your day.
Same house as in the earlier photo. I think this is a better angle for the shot, because the tree is separated from the house and the other tree. I will have to go back next year to get this angle with the light from the first shot.

This is an iconic image of a summer sunset in the cottage country of northwestern Ontario, Canada. Knife painting on stretched canvas (oil, 11 x 14 in, sold).
Just a random shot of a couple walking towards me which I took while hanging out in Orchard with the 135mm F2 DC I rented for the weekend.
It was a golden evening reflection as the sun was setting over the bay between Navarrre Beach and Navarre, Florida.
On this summer's evening, I took a tour in Copenhagen. The light was rare and beautiful. Not dominant in colors, but rather in a subtle gray and purple colors. I got several good shots on this evening.
