After a long rainy day the sky cleared up in the evening. I went on a walk into the vinyards (you see them at the very left corner)... For a change to all my macros I started to take some skyscapes ... and the sunset which will follow tomorrow... I really have to go to bed now :))
A note: I think I am getting inspired by all the beautiful skies from Helmut Gondim... so Helmut, this one is for you :)
Nimiipuu Experience, interactive storytelling, song, drum, and dance from the Nez Perce at the Pioneer Performances on the Oregon Trail Concert Series in Baker City
The Evening Concerts on the Oregon Trail is one of two outdoor summer Concert series held throughout the summer in Baker City’s Geiser Pollman Park. The concerts are hosted by the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center which is located 5 miles out of town on Flagstaff Hill.
Baker County is home to a large and eclectic group of musicians and a growing music scene including the Powder River Music Review which was named Oregon’s Best Music Festival by the Oregon Festivals and Events Association in 2015. The Powder River Music Review the other weekly outdoor summer concert series in Geiser Pollman Park along the banks of the Powder River.
There are several other musical festivals and events throughout the County including the Eagle Creek Music Festival, Pine Fest, and Main Street Stage concert series in Halfway, and the Eastern Oregon TributeFest each August in Baker City.

A very nice gentleman invited me to dinner at the Lake Park Bistro, a rather upscale dining establishment in Milwaukee's Riverside Park. No strings attached.
We had a lovely evening, but that was the end of that. All in all, it was so nice to be treated like a lady

In super clear evening light, 86638/609 pass Hardington Mains with 4M11 Coatbridge - Crewe Basford Hall. Now that it has been retimed slightly earlier, the sun is still on the front of the 86s 12/07/17 ## Edit - I've replaced the photo with a modified version as I felt it needed more 'room' at each side, especially the left.
With the daylight dropping off so early now that we're well and truly into winter season it gives way for some really nice silhouette shots.
This one appears to have managed a quick sneaky visit into Explore at #479.

update on roosky: he's still got a long way to go he's on stable rest and is not happy with that, getting hosed down every 3 hours thankfully the people at the stables are fantastic and doing loads for him, his leg is still swelling up and he is on anti-inflammatories we didn't realise he was hurt so bad when he fell :o(
