I usually wear a long skirt or dress to do a supermarket visit, but I'd so enjoyed wearing this skirt during the afternoon, I decided to wear it into the evening as well :-)

Thanks !
I thought it worth re-posting this one. It's currently running ahead of 48,852 other images in Viewbug's "World at Night" competition.
This past spring when I went up to open our cabin for the summer, I decided to take a bird feeder with me to see what species of birds would come in to feed. I knew I had to bring the feeder in at night as the last time I left one out a few years back a black bear peeled it like a banana! It was raining so I set my camera up on my tripod inside the kitchen and glanced outside every so often so see if anything had come in. Sure enough a "gross" of grosbeaks came in and were enjoying the easy meal. We have Black-headed grosbeaks at home but I had never seen these particular birds before. iBird Pro is such a valuable tool for me! I was able to catch this male on the deck rail (I wish it were a more natural perch, but it is what it is). They came by on two different evenings and I did not see them again all summer.
Evening Fog rolled in and settled over the water at the opening to the bigger lake behind. It was so very quiet, no wind, no birds, just silence. And the silence was amazing.

Evening light falling across the mountains in Western Washington near Snoqualmie. Just love how the clouds moving across the sky at a time like this changes the landscape.
In this photo, you can see the diversification of vehicles on the streets of Beijing, VW from Germany, Peugeot from France, Honda from Japan, Ford Mustang from the United States, and Xiaopeng Motors, a famous brand of electric vehicles in China. The same is true in every big city in China, of course, there are Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, known to the Chinese by the abbreviation BBA, and Tesla.
German cars have achieved great success in the Chinese market in the era of gasoline engines. In the future, it is believed that they will encounter great challenges from electric vehicles in China and the United States.
