Detail from the base of the Europaturm - that huge TV tower Frankfurt. If it's not yet been used as a SciFi movie set, that's a loss of opportunity.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves and comments, they are always appreciated :)

At the Jingxing Bird and Flower Market in Kunming, the capital of the Chinese province Yunnan
Bird and flower markets exist in every Chinese city and have a long tradition. They are in fact pet and flower markets, as you can also buy aquarium fish, turtles, puppies and kittens there.
However, I wonder if it is good for turtles to live with humans.
Escape the madness of concrete and tarmac and enter the world of trees and nature.
Let me know what think, I'd appreciate your comments and thoughts.

Good morning and Happy Hug a Bug Day to everyone. Just a single posting of a Ladybug I spotted on a Saguaro Cactus we keep on the patio during the summer. The cactus made for an interesting setting for this cute little beetle and I liked the contrast in colors. And so you'll know, the beetle was able to eventually escape unhurt from the spiney confines of the cactus.
I'll be amongst the missing most of the day here on flickr so please bear with my lack of response to comments and visits today. Thank you...and I hope you have a truly great day.

Thunderstorms were a dime a dozen yesterday afternoon, but this cloud mass over the Illawarra Coast south of Sydney didn't live up to its potential. I doubt many people were disappointed.
