This morning I spent around 30 mins sat in the car near charlie's garden hoping for some form of sunrise. I gave up on the greyness and headed to work. Enroute typically the sky turned very red. Gutted.
With the camera in tow I drove into town at lunch time and took this in a darkened alley.

The sea horses carry the message 'Escape' on top of a big blue reflected wave. I first noticed this a couple of days before the Japan Tsunami.
'Blind Dave' Heeley and six cycling pals are cycling 800 miles from Colditz Castle to West Bromwich for The Albion Foundation.
It was looking sad and diconsolate on the curbside til someone tried to grab it, whereupon it flew up here, and chirped sadly and disconsolately. I suppose it might not be a parrot but some similar bird.
My interpreter (Ding Mengyu) was actually lying on the top of that wall for about half an hour, utterly frozen, and scraping her knees and hands every time we redid the shot. Ouch.
A horse is the projection of peoples' dreams about themselves--strong, powerful, beautiful--and it has the capability of giving us escape from our mundane existence.
