You can jump off the ground and lose your shadow for a moment. But it's always fixed to you, no matter how hard you may wish to lose your shadow and escape reality.
Here the shadows look like they are trying to step away in the opposite direction to their owners. Dubrovnik old city
I have to share my frustration
everytime when i post a sensual photo i am making those for myself and for people who appreciate photographs who are serious, sensual and yes maybe somewhat erotic but always with taste. My work is made for both men as women. I love photographs of women in sensual, dramatic poses and i love the female body But.... i find my photographs so many times amongst porn and i mean hardcore porn in favorites of a lot of flickrians! I really want to express myself that i REALLY DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT!! So i really do NOT want to be faved by you if you only have those photographs in your favs! Don't you appreciate the diversity of art here on Flickr??? Ok ok.. you have to know for yourself but again i do not want my art to be amongst those pictures! I put a lot of effort in my work and i consider myself as a serious artist so i take that as an insult actually..
ok i really needed to spit that out..
to allllll the others who do appreciate serious photography; i hope you enjoy this photograph

''I had no interests. I had no interest in anything. I had no idea
how I was going to escape. At least the others had some taste for life. They seemed to understand something that I didn’t understand. Maybe I was lacking. It was possible. I often felt inferior. I just wanted to get away from them. But there was no place to go.''

Sometimes things are not as they seem. If you were to be standing next to me watching this incredible sunset you would not have seen the water like this or the clouds blurred like they are here....Thanks to my 10 stop ND filter such results can be accomplished. Yes I do like to escape reality for a while sometimes and when I am up on the Cape or under starry skies in the middle of nowhere, I can let my mind wander and be totally free without ever thinking about the hustle and bustle back in the real world. I hope you enjoy this image as I had a great time creating it.

You can't believe how much I enjoyed going for a walk last weekend!
Climbing out of the thick fog towards the sunshine and marvelous blue sky. Dreamland! And for once, I took my photogear with me. I think it was definitely worth doing so!
The picture: St.Georg-Chapel near Walenstadt, Switzerland, a very small town in the pre-alps were I grew up. Needless to mention, that I am in love with this area.

I came here thinking it would be good if DBC still ran this service, rather than Freightliner; better a red shed than a green one. So it came as some surprise to see a red shed up front, not sure if this a one-off, or not?!
Today, my girlfriend and I did a spontaneous hike (=ride 😋) up Mount Schöckl close to our hometown Graz.
The city is known to be foggy and grey a lot during the colder months so getting up a mountain and looking down at the clouds helps a bit beating the winter blues.

Thank you everyone for visit, comments and faves! This wonderful place is named: "La Pointe du Raz". We can see it from another perspective on this photo in my stream. Have a nice day!
