Approximately 2,000 Marquette alumni and their families danced, dined and reminisced at the 2008 Alumni Reunion Weekend. An annual summer tradition, Reunion Weekend allows generations of Marquetters to reconnect and see how their campus has grown. This year’s event also marked the kick-off for the College of Engineering’s centennial celebration and included reunions at Omega Epsilon, Sigma Phi Delta and Triangle Fraternity. At the construction site for Pump Station #4 Force Main project in Washougal, WA, we installed a water- filled rubber berm around the first half of a trench across the Washougal River (actually two trenches each with two 14-inch utility pipes). The purpose of this was to contain the silt from the excavation.

Middle school kids design and craft model solar electric cars after starting off with just a standard motor and a solar panel. At this annual event, they race their cars to see who will be awarded the trophy.
