At the construction site for Pump Station #4 Force Main project in Washougal, WA, we installed a water- filled rubber berm around the first half of a trench across the Washougal River (actually two trenches each with two 14-inch utility pipes). The purpose of this was to contain the silt from the excavation.
Taken at the Model Engineering Exhibition in Manchester, Trafford center. I went with Andy, Peter and Emily.

During the Fall of 2009, Tyler Dube, civil engineering senior, had the honor of leading the illustrious 380-member Longhorn Band onto the football field. It’s the second consecutive year an engineering student has been named drum major, and the 12th overall in the band’s history.
Students in the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering met with faculty to learn more about selecting a concentration for their degree.
