Grace Hsia Haberl, a University of Michigan lecturer in the College of Engineering Center for Entrepreneurship, and Co-Founder/CEO of Warmilu, works closely with UPS employees volunteering by cutting and preparing materials to make Warmilu Infant Warming Blankets at the close of a professional development weekend at the UPS Intergrad Driver Training Facility in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

The development weekend was designed for women from around the Eastern states who have been identified as rising talent within UPS. Hsia Haberl, who is formerly a UPS employee spoke to the women about her story and the skills needed for advancement, including advocating for themselves, networking, and challenging themselves in the directions they want to grow. She was the final presenter of the weekend and after her talk the attendees and other presenters joined Hsia Haberl to cut and prepare pieces of the Warmilu Infant Warming Blankets that will soon be deployed at hospitals in resource scarce parts of the world.

Scanned from a box of photos from my (mostly) civilian years at Texas A&M University. I decided to scan them because they were fading and I figured some people might get a laugh at what people at A&M looked like in the fabulous 1980s!

On Thursday 2nd October 2014 Hartlepool College of Further Education hosted its annual Awards held by its School of Engineering. The event gave College staff, partners, employers and the family and friends of students a chance to honour the very finest levels of achievement in this diverse and dynamic area.

I am unable to find the exact date for the Estate, but Bagshawes engineering closed in 1972, and the front building burned down in 1978. So 1980's would be a good guess 32 years later it is being demolished for 200 homes.

I surpose they are going to need someone to use the 'Waste Of Money' busway.
