Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the West Point-based 237th Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group construct an 11-row anti-vehicular wire obstacle during Exercise Arctic Forge 25 Feb. 21, 2025, near Helsinki, Finland. Arctic Forge 25 is a U.S. Army multilateral exercise in Finland and Norway, focused on enhancing arctic military capabilities and cooperation with a focus on honing U.S. troops skills to survive, fight, and win in the Arctic’s austere conditions. The 176th Engineer Brigade's Headquarters and Headquarters Company conducted a change of command ceremony in which Capt. Trina Anderson-Kerr, outgoing commander, relinquished command to Capt. Bobby Maphies, incoming commander. Also, during the ceremony 1st. Sgt. James Claudell, outgoing First Sergeant passed on responsibility to 1st. Sgt. The whole fortress is recreated from the original 1740's layout. This, if I remember correctly, is the engineer's house - the guy who designed the whole fortress. That, or it's one of the captains.
The engineers cottage was used to accommodate the engineers and architects during Tarraleah's hydro days. Today the cottages have been fully restored to their former glory.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division (NAD) held its inaugural Regional Castle Ball Jan. 20 at the Fort Hamilton Community Club in Brooklyn, New York, hosted by Brig. Gen. John Lloyd, NAD Commander and Division Engineer, and his wife, Mrs. Stacy Lloyd.
During evening festivities, Paula Schasberger, NAD Division Counsel, and Col. Robert McTighe, NAD Deputy Commander, hosted a Grog Ceremony, and the evening's keynote speaker was Mr. Tony Richardson, Philanthropist and NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame player.
Additionally, during the evening festivities, NAD presented awards to recipients of the Bronze de Fleury Medal, including Betzaida Andujar, Karyn Coe, Maj. Stephen Marthy, and Shamirra Shelton-Thornton.
The posting and retiring of the colors were provided by the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) Honor Guard, along with the singing of the national anthem, Engineer Song and Army Song performed by Sgt. Maj.
