I didnt realize last night that my brain would read so much into this picture.... I knew what I was after however when I processed it... it got into my head... and heart...
Embryo... the soul living in that tree is me... is us... is mankind... waking from a dream to a whole new day... the beginning of the rest of our lives...
A new day and the rising sun... Life for so many has changed forever and my life goes on as I am used to it... my tears wont bring back those innocent people killed on the orders of an evil man... and my crying voice wont bring back those unfortunate people who died in the recent natural disasters... All I.... we can do.... is give what we can to the survivors and pray that these things will not happen again.
Im sorry... I didnt mean for this to be emotional for me.... maybe my soul has finally decided to grieve for humanity... and has finally realized that my problems.... my needs are just so small compared to those of so many others....
the processing of this picture was minor..... I added the border and messed with lensflares.... the color in this are what they were when I messed inword with windlight. I hope you all like it.
Thanks to you all for being good friends... I hope I can be the same to you.

This photo of an opened oviduct with an ectopic pregnancy features a spectacularly well preserved 10-millimeter embryo. It is uncommon to see any embryo at all in an ectopic, and for one to be this well preserved (and undisturbed by the prosector's knife) is quite unusual.
Even an embryo this tiny shows very distinct anatomic features, including tail, limb buds, heart (which actually protrudes from the chest), eye cups, cornea/lens, brain, and prominent segmentation into somites. The gestational sac is surrounded by a myriad of chorionic villi resembling elongate party balloons. This embryo is about five weeks old (or seven weeks in the biologically misleading but eminently practical dating system used in obstetrics).
The photo was taken on Kodak Elite 200 slide film, with a Minolta X-370 camera and 100mm f/4 Rokkor bellows lens at near-full extension. The formalin-fixed specimen was immersed in tapwater and pinned to a tray lined with black velvet. The exposure was 1/4 second at f/8.
This image found its way to Wikipedia and on 29 Nov 2006 was promoted to the status of Featured Picture. It was Wikipedia's Picture of the Day for March 21, 2007.
More recently, I added an image of a nine-week embryo to my Photostream. What a difference two weeks makes!
Going backwards in time, I have an image of a 4- to 5-week embryo, which I also found in a tubal pregnancy.
The size (2cm in length) and anatomic features suggest development equivalent to a nine-week pregnancy (or seven weeks post ovulation). In obstetrics, pregnancy is dated from the first day of the last menstrual period, which is about two weeks prior to the ovulation that resulted in the pregnancy
There is another image of a 10-week embryo on Flickr, which is quite spectacular.
I believe that this is some type of embryo but have no idea what it is. Yesterday morning I stepped outside and saw it, thinking it was a marble and puzzling how it came there I picked it up. It was the size of a marble but was soft and wet, not hard. You can see aquamarine colours in the embryo and will notice that in the bottom diptych some has leaked. I wonder if it is blood or what. This morning when I stepped out it was still there but flat like a coin. However, it did not appear that it had been squashed by anything.
I am very curious as to what this is if anyone knows please let me know!

Moulting springtail plus eggs ? X2 on the pond edge. Could not work out what this Sminthurides aquaticus springtail was up to when I took the shot it looked rather odd. When processing the pic I realised it looks as if it's moulting. Whilst studying this I then noticed it seemed to be sitting on a pile of springtail eggs

A tightly packed Common Home Lizard embryo that unfortunately couldn't break its shell. This is what a tightly packed lizard embryo looked like without its eggshell. The central part is the eye, with the arm just beneath and the tail above. 35 Images were focused stacked to get the final result, with the delicate embryo suspended on the tip of a needle.
I was playing with the shadow settings in Emerald but weirdly enough I couldn't take a snapshot cause it went all blurry and stuff :( So I took a screenshot instead...
Anyone got some usefull hints for taking snapshots with the shadows turned on?

Continuing with my Embryo? story; yesterday morning I went to check it out and found it flattened but not squashed as seen in the first part of this diptych. It rained all day and later that afternoon a friend of mine suggested that I gently open it to see what it looks like inside, which I did as seen in the second part of the diptych. Does anyone have any clue what this is please?
I went back to see the egg development and was surprised to see so much progression from a couple days ago!

The Embryo Sim has had another amazing makeover - this one is dark (midnight settings recommended) and watery, with underground ruins and this beautiful cave full of roses and moonbeams. Visit Embryo or if my link is broken search for the store "Un Jour" by the wonderfully talented Siestabril Nitely.
The Embryo label was owned by Herbie Mann, American jazz flautist and important early practitioner of world music. The label and distributed by the Atlantic subsidiary Cotillion Records. Known mostly as a jazz label it did release some rock albums. Embryo closed in 1977 and Mann returned to recording for former parent label Atlantic Records.
