After the fabric/fibers were laid down and clear soluble fabric was put over the top, I needle felted with the embellisher. Then it was machine stitched all over and the soluble fabric was washed away. Hand stitching came next.

This was by far my favorite toy that I made for my daughter. She loved it when she was a baby. It's fleece with some cotton fabric applique and embroidery. It has different colored embroidery patterns on the other side.

It is the gibson girl blouse pattern by Folk wear but I embroidered the yoke with the skull cameo (urban threads) in white on white cotton. I added a few pintucks.

 

The buttons holes aren't completed yet but are being done by hand in pearl cotton.

I hear when there are people in the embroidery it means it was made in Oaxaca.

A modified version of RAW #37, tabs instead of rivets to set the embroidery. I'm not sure which one I prefer yet, probably the riveted version??

hand-embroidered parakeet pillow for Kate. I used an image for reference with the bird, but the rest was free-hand, which is why its awkward.

 

Every stitch is a chain stitch. Dark, chocolate brown floss on a white patterned cotton fabric. After embroidery was done, I sewed it into a pillow case.

I went to Graceland at the beginning of the summer and fell in love with the poodle wallpaper in Gladys Presley's bathroom. I created the poodle embroidery on this dress and the dress itself with that in mind:

I just realized I never posted a pic of my newest pillow here! This was made for the same friend who has my "Go balls deep" pillow.

This is a finished block for the quilt I will eventually make. I am embroidering 2 of each block and have 7 blocks done.
