Mid-day view on the way up. Also, do not fret, I made sure to appropriately step aside or to make sure no one was approaching when I stopped for even the quickest photo 😄

*Working Towards a Better World

I personally feel that if If we learn to embrace our differences we can appreciate our world better and acquire more knowledge and understanding through sharing and caring, so let us begin here!

Another from those ever so slippy limestone boulders at Horden.

Mesa Arch at sunrise with Washer Woman Arch in the background, Canyonlands National Park, Utah

Normally it’s not my style to set my alarm clock at some ungodly hour to beat the crowd for some cliché sunrise shots. This time I woke up at 5:00am on my first morning in Moab and decided to throw myself into a hectic photo taking scene, just for Mesa Arch.

There is a big difference between a hug and an embrace. A hug is a mere act - a way of greeting one another, but an embrace is an intentional conversation between two souls.

With one embrace you can say to someone...

I accept you

I love you

I adore you

I see you

I support you

I AM YOURS

When I started to embrace myself with an open heart and mind, I then learn how to embrace others without restriction.

Today...Embrace someone

Embrace the fall colours. Embrace the the fall weather. Embrace another Friday!

Everything embraces the Sun.

Graceful Great Egret does just that.

Love is not just ONE day... but 365?

Buy a nice bunch now and then! HAHA

Tulips in an embrace, the leaves forming a heart, I spotted them amongst the rest in the bouquet...

I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen!

You can see for yourself what these tulips were clearly saying!!! "I AM ALL ABOUT LOVE!" Please, embrace me... I need to feel you...this is wonderful...

Yes I am a confessed old-fashioned romantic and I like it! LOL

After taking a few images of our columbines, I noticed that my dad did not mow down all the marguerites in front of our house. Since there was a gap in the clouds through which the sun was shining through, I quickly searched for a composition and found these embracing marguerites in the last light of the day. Hope you like it!

I hoped very much to be able to make such a shot. I was here on the beach since about 03:00 and finally stumbled upon these two ;)

Half-way between heaven and hell; BNSF is less than 10 years old but unwelcome changes are evident on Cajon Pass. Searchlights are beginning to fall and plenty of pumpkins lead trains. One such example is this eastbound freight approaching Lugo, CA at CP Martinez, the eastern end of triple track, and just a few miles past Summit. Note the C44-9 warbonnet, GP60M repaint and CP SD40 in consist.
