in the driest time of the year, with no leaves in sight, these strange apparitions push themselves up out of the ground...
not the best photo i ever took, but had to participate in the 5th anniversary of the Impossible Moment in Time! theme = the fifth element
my boy, I've made another breakthrough!
what, another one, herr doktor?
indeed! and it's huge! I've discovered a new element! I'm naming it after me, so I'll forever be in the periodic table of elements!
gee, that's exciting, herr doktor. can I see it?
see it? well, actually, no. it exists only as a computer model. not in the, you know, actual world.
oh. so maybe you should call it unrealium. know what I mean?
yes. that name is kind of. . . catchy, isn't it? ok! I'm going to contact the periodic table committee right away!
didn't they expel you for fraud last year?
oh that was nothing! a mere clerical error!
for including in your book a bunch of pop-ups of animal penises?
I told them, that was totally the publisher fault!
I think yours was in there too, wasn't it?
for comparative purposes only! my dedication to science knows no bounds!
or shame, right?
right! I mean, what?
enjoying the life in forest... together with all my wiered animals... (on the pic just few of them LOL) ... mmhhh... actually homeless again, but don't regrett anything :)

Unos de los mas importantes elementos de la vida, el agua es el combustible para no desindratarnos y para la naturaleza es el factor vital para poder sobrevivir.
As part of my ongoing movie and TV vehicles project, lately I've been looking at flying vehicles. Korben Dallas' flying taxi, from The Fifth Element, seemed like an obvious option.

This is the sixth upload in my Halloween mini-series. (This was taken at Teamlab at Azubudai Hill)
Some always like to say there is a great good in everyone (and as a religious man I agree), but I don't think as many people know that as humans there is inherently a great evil in us too. The nuance is derived from sin and it is truly up to us to decide how much we wish to indulge in either side. Pride, jealousy, lust, wrath, greed, hypocrisy, no matter how pure a person might seem, those elements are still there. Sometimes it's difficult to deafen the devil. And until the day we pass away he will keep trying every moment to break into us. Sometimes I wonder if I can really call myself a follower of God with how often I give in. I don't trust a guy without a dark side, but at the same time I know that evil cannot become predominant. It's sometimes hard choosing the light when you know you're on a path to hell merely by living on this earth.
Anyways, that's the theme, now for the shot. I needed a red teamlab shot to convey the atmosphere described. The initial shot I intended to use was unfortunately too blurry, so even out of this mini-series, I don't think I can post it. This was a close second, the crystal ball room was the real winner of the complex anyways and gave me the most usable shots in this place. Halfway through editing I noticed a peculiar shape on the close ball's reflection. It looked a bit like an unnatural wicked grin, the smile curving around around the entire shape. So I trimmed around the hedge and made it easier to differentiate the shape I saw. It doesn't look natural but perhaps that's why I liked it, and thought it even better as a replacement shot for this mini-series.
He's watching you every minute of every day, waiting to strike from any angle. But don't let it discourage you. Faith is an often hard thing to keep up, but everyday I have to keep trying.
