The British Embassy Budapest organised an Election Night party on 6 May 2010. The programme included welcoming remarks by HM Ambassador Greg Dorey and Election Analyst Robert Laszlo from Political Capital, "news feeds" from UK news networks during the entire evening, a free UK Election 2010 guide, a "dummy election" and a pub quiz on UK history, the electoral system and the candidates.

November 2005 - Municipal elections were held today. We voted at the New Westminster Armory voting station.

I post general comments in my blog at my eJournal and images.

une election paritaire à revoir

An election worker dips the finger of a man who just voted to prove that he has voted and prevent him from voting again. The folks in vests are workers for CNE - the National Electoral Commission (http://www.stae.org.mz/).

Voting at the Bayswater Senior Citizens Centre on August 21st 2010.

I prefer to vote about half an hour after the polls open. That way I avoid both the initial crowd and the secondary crowd when the less enthusiastic voters get around to dragging themselves out of bed.

Derek Clark MEP at Northamptonshire UKIP election launch

Saw this sign while visiting my Aunt a few weeks ago up around Eureka Springs....

Don't think I'd vote for this guy, since he grows up into Lord Voldermort (sorry, He Who Must Not Be Named).

I haven't voted yet. I tried to early vote on Saturday, first going to the main voting place downtown. The line was out the door and trailed out along the sidewalk. After that I thought I'd hit the main library in North Little Rock. The line was all still inside, but it curled and twisted around. I waited in line for about 20 minutes and gave up, going to take pictures instead. I'll try again tomorrow after work...

While we have no Tom Riddles here, there are a few cool names on our ballot. Residents in Pulaski County can vote to re-elect sheriff Doc Holladay, who apparently came to Little Rock after leaving the OK Corral. And a sign by my parent's house in NLR was for alderman Tom Jones - which is not unusual, I guess...

Election Night at the London Embassy, 8 November 2016.

Over the past month, the owner of this house has put of DIY signs and banners on the side of his house to show his love for the Labour party and hatred for the Conservative party.

Since putting up the signs, several people have complained to the local council who have issued him a formal notice to remove the signs.

To the left of the signs it reads "FEEL GOOD. Vote Labour".

Rite of Election was held at Guardian Angel Cathedral in Las Vegas. Bishop George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., celebrated the liturgy. Also present was Auxiliary Bishop Gregory Gordon.
