I always want to try to shoot some infrared photos. However, buying an expensive infrared filter (i.e. Hoya R72) is not quite practical to me. So I tried to play around with photoshop to get the coloured infrared effect as close as I can. And here is the result. I know it's not perfect but I think it's still acceptable.

The gauges are large, classic and easy to read (go figure) but the wheel is large and skinny. But isn't that part of the charm?
(Also try it on black.)
The Lunar X is a Clare Obscur effect seen on the Moon once a month for around 4 hours. This region has always fascinated me so I wanted to create sketches from photographs I've taken of that region. The exact point in the lunar cycle that the Lunar X becomes visible varies because of lunar libration.
The left hand sketch is from an image taken by me on 11th May 2019 when the Moon was 48% illuminated and the "X" was very apparent on the shadow side of the terminator. The right sketch is from an image also taken by me, this time on 29th May 2020 when the Moon was 47% illuminated. Even though the Moon has 1% less illumination on the right sketch, you can see that more of the features around the Lunar X are illuminated, making it more difficult to spot the "X" which is no longer on the shadow side of the terminator. There are some gorgeous crater shadows in the surround region which were completely in shadow in the first sketch.
The Lunar X is caused by sunlight hitting the edges of craters Purbach, La Caille and Blanchinus. The two craters to the right are Werner and Aliacensis and the large one at the bottom is Walther.
The sketches were created on black paper with Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils in white and black.
Timelapse shot with a Canon 1100D with 18-55mm lens, with a photo taken every 10 seconds. The timelapse was created with PIPP and Movie Maker 10. I've included the final result, cleaned up and photographed from above. I really hope you enjoyed seeing the creation of one of my favourite regions of the lunar surface.

Took me about a million tries to capture the Pantscast window in mid-flip - I'd never seen someone do a background for this transition effect before.

One of the major reasons why we need to work towards protecting the environment is because it helps to protect humanity. If we didn’t have our environment, then we wouldn’t have a place to live or resources to live.it is our moral obligation to do so. As a human who lives on earth, it is our responsibility to make sure that it is protected. We must give back to the future generation that what we have received and enjoying. Give them an environment that isn’t damaged and teach them how to continue living sustainably. I request all good souls to plant Banyan tree while making tree plantation. It will have a long lasting effect for mankind and go a long way in carry forwarding the nature to the next generation and will also give fruits useful for birds. Instagram Id : @nagendran_c4777. Planting of trees in a special occasion such as Birthday Wedding etc is a excellent gesture. It can be done in memory of our Parents, Teachers, Friends and also people who comes across in our life such as Doctors Nurses and health staff for their noble service to the society.
