It was the edges that drew my attention to this scene. The light was setting over a distant mountain and touching the edge of the trees. After a number of shots and various compositions, it was the dark log on the bottom right that anchored it just right.
This is the color version of the flower photo I shot for Macro Monday's flowers that needed to be changed to black and white. This hibiscus is so beautiful, it's a shame not to see the exquisite colors.
Also using this photo for Sliders Sunday Group - HSS ! !

A couple of links on a newly sharpened Oregon chain for my Stihl Chainsaw.
It is in this state, slightly tangled & not on the machine, that these are most likely to take the skin off a couple of fingers

Another clear sky sunrise. But I thought, if I miss this one, I'd miss the valley filled with mist, especially after yesterday's rain.
This was one of the last shots of the morning. A composition I've never noticed before.
The midges were awful.
Looking over the edge of the "The Cloughs" to the beauty of the Edale slopes below "Brown Knoll" (Horsehill Tor to the left) and of course, the infamous Jacobs Ladder (on the right).
>> Recommend: Zooming in to explore the speckled texture of the rocks in the foreground.

On the edge of the storm, on the edge of the Tor and a logan stone on the edge at Belstone Tor, Dartmoor. One of my favourite Tors and not simply because it is nearest to where I live. The sun was setting behind some cloud to the west but giving a really browny/orange cast to the higher cloud. Heavy rain and hailstones accompanied me all the way back to the car but as always it is such a privilege to have such a wonderful place almost all to myself.

Baslow Edge Sunset, with Curbar Edge in distance. Peak District.

Luze ibilaldi argazkilaritza bat pixka bat nekatuta, haur eta miraria jolastoki baten ertzean eten bat gertatzen da : Zer itxurak eta koloreak, nire joko umea honetan aurkituko jostetak eta biziki ona da ... Baina ez dakit maite baduzu ... ???
A long walk photo a little tired, a pause on the edge of a playground for children and the miracle occurs: What shapes and colors, the gun went off, I will find my game and this kid is good ... But I do not know if you like ... ???
