The Bunbeg shipwreck is located in the small village of Bungeg on the west coast of Co Donegal In the early 70s it had run ashore due to rough seas. It is known locally as 'Bad Eddie'.

Water motion creates many small icy eddies (remolinos) in the far south waters of the Ross Sea, Antarctica.
"Le jour s'est levé" version par Vox Angeli;
"Le jour s'est levé
Sur une étrange idée
Je crois que j'ai rêvé
Que ce soir je mourrais
Le jour s'est levé
Plein de perplexité
Si ce n'était pas un rêve
Qu'il faille s'en aller
S 'en aller
Comme le jour avançait
En moi je pensais
Si ce n'était pas un rêve
J'ai tout à aimer
Quand le jour s'est couché
J'ai réalisé
Que ce n'était qu'une trêve
Dans ma réalité
Nous sommes ici pour croire
Rien d'autre à laisser croire
Croire que l'on meurt ce soir
Pour qui veut bien voir
Le voile est levé
Sur ma pauvreté
Qu'ai-je donc à garder
Qui ne sera soufflé
Oui, le voile est levé
Tout est si coloré
Qu'ai-je donc à donner
Qui ne sera soufflé
Nous sommes ici pour croire
Rien d'autre à laisser croire
Croire que l'on meurt ce soir
Et qu'il est déjà tard
Déjà tard
Mais pas trop tard
A toi de voir
A toi de croire
Le jour s'est levé
Sur cette étrange idée
La vie n'est qu'une journée
Et la mort qu'une nuit
La vie n'est ajournée
Que si la mort lui nuit"
A westbound BNSF grainer disturbs the peaceful Western Montana morning splitting a classic pair of NP Searchlights!
An eastbound BNSF grain train prepares for an imaginary meet with a westbound at Eddy, MT. The westbound went into emergency at Plains so this guy continued east to give them a hand.
Working west along the Clark Fork near Eddy is the gas local heading to Thompson Falls in the late evening.
There’s still some snow on Eddy Peak, and far below, Montana Rail Link’s day gas train heads east between Eddy and Weeksville in the Clark Fork Valley of Montana on May 12, 2021.
...or maybe it is an Edwina....... still working on the second little guy..... and, two people have already commented that perhaps he is a 'she' .. darn it. Maybe it is because the face looks younger than the first Eddy.... more babyish or something......
Guess we'll see, if I ever get ears on him/her..... that will be the final head stuff now that eyelids and shading are complete.....
Pretty happy with how the nose and snout turned out..... very happy with the lids....
I love this photo of the two of them together. Eddy looks like a very caring big brother ....
Peeking out between the legs of the station sign, MRL 4408 waits on the main at Eddy for an approaching eastbound.

The former school for Fishs Eddy, NY. Later used for Delaware County Head Start, I do not know if it still serves that function.
In the almost cut off from the rest of the state hamlet of Hale Eddy, the former schoolhouse has been expanded to serve as a community Center and Community Baptist Church.
MRL SD35 leads the Gas Local East along the Clark For River near Eddy, MT. I really enjoyed a number of chases with this trio of SD35s. This is scan number 1,800. While I am enjoying scanning these and posting them I will never finish. Shot in Oct 2004

Attempted this shot on our first day, but some annoying foamers calling themselves "professionals" (no joke) stood right next to the signals and thus ruined our shot. This isn't as sharp as I would like it since I was using my telephoto zoomed in pretty far in low light, but what are you really gonna do
