To commemorate the the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (TIP) July 30 2019, MyAmerica hosted a speaker program on “Human Trafficking Among the Vulnerable” featuring prominent State Department’s TIP Hero Awardee Maizidah Salas and Yuliati Umrah, IVLP alumna who is known as a champion of children’s rights and anti-trafficking activist to lead discussion on the same issue at MyAmerica Surabaya. At the opening remarks CG stressed the importance of working together to end human trafficking, while Acting Country Attache, ICE – Homeland Security Investigations Shan K Smith also highlighted U.S. government programs in Indonesia to train law enforcement to combat human trafficking. More than 80 visitors, including prominent women activists, parliament members, NGOs, law enforcement officials, as well as general public enjoyed a lively discussion on how everyone can help fight human trafficking, whilst dozen others watched online through MyAmerica Surabaya’s Instagram account. She shared some shocking facts and stories about sexual exploitation cases involving children in Bali that often lead to trafficking. Currently, Yuliati through her foundation Yayasan Alit is assisting the Bali Provincial government to draft specific regulation for child protection in tourism industry. Another IVLP alumna who is a journalist from CNN Indonesia also shared his story of conducting investigative reporting about child trafficking and prostitution in tourism areas. Audiences were enthusiastically asked questions, including how such program can go further beyond increasing awareness about the issue, but also make people undertake real actions to prevent trafficking in their community. Jajaghu or Jago temple was constructed in 1275 - 1300 AD. It believed as the burial place of King Wisnuwardhana ashes, the fourth king of Singosari kingdom. It is extremely interesting that the temple has ornament similarities to those of Penataran temple in Blitar Regency. It lies at Jago village, Tumpang District, the eastern part of Malang (about 22 km).

Selecta was build by the dutch named Ruyter de Wildt on 1930 as tourism and a place for the dutch' vacation when they are in Indonesia. the name selecta was came by Selectie, which is chosen.

Students pass the water to wash their feet before entering Pesantren Lirboyo in Kediri, East Java province, Indonesia. Lirboyo Islamic boarding school was founded by Kyai Haji Abdul Karim in 1910 and considered the largest traditional boarding school (pesantren) with over 17,000 students in Kediri, East Java province, Indonesia. Students known as Santri lived separated from their family and spend everyday studying Islamic scriptures, reading the Koran and other Islamic studies.
Pak Kusni has grown coffee for 25 years. He is worried because the price for the beans from Sidomulyo has gone down, and he wonders if this is connected to the global economic crisis he has heard about on television.

The hardship from gathering the sulfur into the volcano is merely an "appetizer" for the miners. The load of sulfur between 70 to 90 kgs then had to be carried out of the crater, along the rim and down the hill. A load that most could scarcely lift, let alone climb and walk with. It was a humbling experience to witness such determination in this divine landscape.

Surawana temple was built in 1390 AD but was not “officially” completed until its inception in 1400. It was built as a memorial for Wijayarajasa, the Prince of Wengker. He was Rajasanagara’s uncle as a result of marriage and he was a great influence of power. Some believe that this did not start out as a monument to the prince, but just a structure that he commissioned. That is why the dates differ when it comes to when it was completed. The sraddha ceremony, which is a ritual funeral ceremony, was held in 1400 which is why some speculate to actual completion date. Not much is known about the history after that or how it came to become dismantled, but today it stands in the small village of Canggu, in the Kediri district right out of Pare. As of right now specialists are trying to reconstruct the base to its original state

Roro kuning waterfall is located + 23 km south of Nganjuk city. This location is a beautiful village, which has beautiful pine trees forest, crystal clear river and boast of several waterfall. This location is challenging and very beautiful. This waterfall is the closest waterfall to Panglima Soedirman Monument, while the others are Pacoban Ngunut (* 75 m high) and the Pacoban Coban (* 95 m high).
