One thing I must say on this building that the architect responsible on renovation needs some brain bleaching. This building's facade is rubbish and eye-straining. I prefer old smoke-glazed and white panel marble cladding than this potentially hazardous plastic cladding and blue glass.

Fasad gedung lama lebih enak dipandang dan ada rasa elegannya ketimbang yang sekarang, yang norak dan berbahaya (karena bisa saja material cladding nya mudah terbakar).

Kidal temple is located in Rejo Kidal village, Tumpang district, about 24 km away to the East from Malang city. The Real height of the temple is 17 meters, but now it's just 12,4 meters. Kidal temple is one of Malang's historical temple that save history value. The temple base has a shape square. The door is one in west side. Above the door of the temple, there are "Kepala Kala" (Head of Giants) and lions. The temple was decorated using ornaments, which depict Mahabharata story not in sequence.

HVA (Handelsvereeniging Amsterdam) building now become PT. Plantation Nusantara XI (Persero) building, which located in Merak Street 1; Surabaya had built on 1920 and finished on 1925. Its designer is famous architect bureau from Batavia, Hulswit, Fermont & Ed. Cuypers. HVA building is the biggest building in Surabaya (finished about 3000 M3 concrete). Its architect tries to bring the local traditional elements as it decorative manner, to give the local identity characteristic. Now this building still be looked after carefully.
PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI, generally known as PTPN XI (Persero), is one of State owned Enterprises (BUMN) involving its business in sugarcane plantation, which produces sugar as the main product, and molasses in form of alcohol and methylated spirit.
The history of the company started with nationalization of foreign plantation companies owned by Dutch colonial by the government of Indonesia in 1958 to become State Plantation Company.
In 1968, PPN was once again restructured to become a number of units of State Plantation Company (PPN) where later in 1972 the legal status of the company was changed into limited liability Company of PT Perkebunan (Persero). In the efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of state owned companies (BUMN), the government made restructuring program of State owned Plantation companies through merger program which is based on exploitation areas of the companies. The program was started with management merger in 1994 where 2 states owned plantation companies, namely PT Perkebunan XX (Persero) and PT Perkebunan Nusantara XXIV – XXV (Persero) were merged into a single management of PT Perkebunan XI (Persero).
Through the Government Regulation Number 8 1996 dated 14 February 1996, both of the companies were then merged to become PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI (Persero) domiciled in Surabaya.

Sumberawan Temple that located in the foothills of Mt Arjuna to the north east of Malang, is one of a Buddhist statue in East Java. Dating from about the end of 14th century or beginning of 15th century, this site has been identified with Kasurangganan, or 'the garden of the heavenly nymphs', which is mentioned in the Nagarakertagama as having been visited by King Hayam Wuruk of Majapahit in 1359.
Sumberawan temple is located about 1 kilometer of Singhasari temple gateway, which in Hindu style. To reach Sumberawan temple, the visitors should walk on a path between rice field and river through 500 meters of roadway of Sumberawan village. It surrounded by nature panorama and has natural water source. It said that the water of Sumberawan pool has great energy for health. Some visitors always take a bath in this pool. They don’t want to pass it.
The temple is in Buddhist style and formed a statue without any accessories. Temple’s body is rectangular and contain of two parts. The temple is one of beautiful temple in East Java, because of its location. Every ‘Waisak’ (Buddha Holiday), Sumberawan Temple is visited by many Buddhist to celebrate the life of the Buddha. They usually come in the evening and having meditation.

More than 80 visitors, including prominent women activists, parliament members, NGOs, law enforcement officials, as well as general public enjoyed a lively discussion on how everyone can help fight human trafficking, whilst dozen others watched online through MyAmerica Surabaya’s Instagram account. She shared some shocking facts and stories about sexual exploitation cases involving children in Bali that often lead to trafficking. Currently, Yuliati through her foundation Yayasan Alit is assisting the Bali Provincial government to draft specific regulation for child protection in tourism industry. Another IVLP alumna who is a journalist from CNN Indonesia also shared his story of conducting investigative reporting about child trafficking and prostitution in tourism areas. Audiences were enthusiastically asked questions, including how such program can go further beyond increasing awareness about the issue, but also make people undertake real actions to prevent trafficking in their community. The event gained positive coverage from prominent media outlet such as ANTARA, Jawa Pos. CNN Indonesia and successfully raised awareness of different stakeholders.
