Flickr Friday-Early Spring Signs
My Forsythia was very early this year. It bloomed for the first time on February 4th. That's 2 weeks earlier than last year.

The circle of life... New life emerges in the least likely place. Out of the darkness of winter, comes new hope, with the first sight of spring.
Almost missed the cherries blooming this year at Sarah Duke Gardens. Everything was so early this year...
Another try with some spring macro shots. This time with tripod, B+W CPL filter and way better light.
After this stormy week there are still water droplets all over the place. As the sun was high in the sky no nice reflection bokeh was possible this time.

these tiny blue flowers are about the size of a small pea and they carpet the barn yard in early spring. They bloom before daffodils and tulips and possibly even crocus. I don't know what they are... some type of weed but the chickens love them! :-)
