It was in the upper 60s in Connecticut, and Fallsview Park in Seymour was roped off because of the rush of melt water in the Naugatuck River going over the Naugatuck Falls.

Don't trust burrowing rodents for weather advice. They aren't trained climatologists.

Almond baguette with butter, roquefort and fresh raw garlic. And some white wine to go with it. Just great!

Crowea saligna flowers in Manly Dam.

Disclosure: Spring is actually six months away here in Australia! However, these beautiful pink flowers brighten up late summer in the Sydney bushland, especially here in Manly Dam.

Here, Mr. Autumn is coming, I already have my summer and Spring preserve for any emergency. :)

Yes, there are people in the other hemisphere!

Newborn lambs, the first day out in the fields!

Many thanks to all who takes the time to view, comment and fave my pictures!

With no doubts, spring is my favorite season. Just love to contemplate how nature is coming back to life.

I planted a few bulbs with my girlfriends 2 years ago, and this is one of them.

She's now gone, but these are a reminder that life still goes.

These croci are a month early due to some unseasonal warmth, but they are very welcomed!

During our walks in nature reserves we are often welcomed by cows, sheeps and wild horses. And sometimes we have to run for our lives, lol! This time it was very special, we saw newborn calves from the Aberdeen Angus breed.

Many thanks to all who takes the time to view, comment and fave my pictures!

Early spring signs - willow catkin

March 1, 2017

Today we had a flock of nearly 50 hens and two big tom turkeys ambling through the neighborhood. The big males, these days, are intent on putting on elaborate displays for the females.

We will take this as one of our region's early spring signs, although, for now, even in their most ornate and colorful expressions, these poor toms seem to be getting completely ignored. The girls just walk on by!!
