Lamb's Ear (Stachys byzantina) - a low grower that is good for edging borders and it grows fast and spreads quickly. Soft, fuzzy gray leaves. Small purple flowers bloom from thick erect stems.

It's a sign of the times - in some quarters at least - that the name was changed to jelly ear - much better. About time the scientific name was also brought up to date.
