Whitetail Deer either listening in two different directions or signaling a left turn. Not to mention several ticks on her ear.
The Mule Ears is a landmark photography location in the Big Bend National Park. The twin pillars dominate a long tract of the Ross Maxwell Scenic drive. Late afternoon is when you get a side light on the area.

While Ballintemple is a Nursery for trees run by the semi-state body, Coilte, it is open to visitors and walkers and part of its delight are the beautiful views of the Blackstairs and the Wicklow Mountains, it has gorgeous forest and nursery trails. I came across these flowers that look like dandelions but are actually known by a few names including Cat’s-ear, flatweed or a false dandelion.

For Happy Caturday 4 September 2021 "Attributes" (from a specific list - including ears.) I like the stripes on the back of her ears - like fake eyes?
Elephants may spread their ears when they are excited, surprised or alarmed and try to make themselves look bigger. They may also spread their ears to cool off by aerating the blood vessels in the ears which circulates cooler blood throughout the body.
This elephant cow was accompanied by her calf. It was so small it practically disappeared in the tall grass - maybe that's why she was vigilant.

I post this photo of Tofu for the Happy Caturday theme "favourite part". Of course I love his blue eyes and soft fluffy fur but I wanted to do something different this time and opted for his ears which are about the most colourful about him. I don't really know what he was looking for when I took this photo but his face disappeared completely in the lawn and that allowed me to concentrate on the ears. :) Happy Caturday !
This was taken at the Safed Klezmer Festival {see my pic "fed up of waiting"} I saw this young couple he had bought her a gift of earings.
I know these things look like stubby wings but they are ears, belonging to my African elephant lady. I hope one day I will share all of her with you
