Guayama, PR- Soldiers assigned to the 475th Eng. Co., US Army Reserve-Puerto Rico, are currently tearing down over 10 condemned structures and cleaning empty lots in the center of the southern city, in another effort to help the community of Puerto Rico.

The troops, many of whom have recently returned from the combat zone in Afghanistan, are applying their technical skills, while working in direct coordination with local authorities to eliminate safety hazards to the local community.

“This has been a collaborative effort. The municipal government, the police and the community is helping in every step of this project. It is an excellent team work, “said Lt. Mike Martinez, Executive Officer of the Engineer Company.

After receiving gyan for me there is a subtle experience of separation. The 5 agnas and 5 priciples allowed me grow my understanding of the true Self. In a sense its been true liberation of ego.

NO:Villgulrot LAT:Daucus carota ENG:Wild Carrot SP:Zanahoria silvestre

Sted/Place:Bel Air, Estepona Dato/Date:05 2011 Str/Size:40-180cm Blomstring/Flowering:Mai-august (5-8) Habitat: Gressletter, veikanter, åkerland

[ENG] One time I celebrated my birthday at a restaurant, I reserved a table for 15 people and only 2 showed up (I ended up crying, lol). Since then, I decided I'd celebrate my birthdays at home.

For the past few years, I've been a little crazy and obsessed with becoming the perfect host and make everyone have a good time, with rules, with tons of things, haha; this year I decided to scale down my anual celebration: half the guests, less fancy stuff, no 2-day crazy cooking spree. I DID bake my own cake tho, it's no birthday without good cake.

I think this was one of my best birthdays because I WAS ABLE TO ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE MY BIRTHDAY without worrying too much, without that much stress. I have 2 sacred holy days per year: my birthday and Christmas Eve and, so far, one turned out great, hahaha. Thanks to everyone who have become a part of my life with every passing year and make me laugh or find me funny, haha.

Gafanhoto

ENG: UK: Mediterranean Slant-faced Grasshopper

There are many similarities between the Acrida ungarica and the Truxalis nasuta another Grasshopper that bets in camouflage as a form of protection. One distinction is made by the lines on pronotum that are straight and parallel on Acrida while in Truxal are slightly curved.

The female is larger than the male, reaching up to 7 cm.
