Tınaztepe Cave, one of the longest caves in the world
Tınaztepe caves are located in Seydişehir, Konya. The world's third, is Turkey's largest caves. Its total length is 22 km, and its navigable part is 1580 meters. It is a completely horizontal cave except the 64-meter descent at the end. It was opened in 2004 as Cave Recreation Facilities.
Located at the crossing of the Konya-Antalya Highway on the Taurus Mountains and discovered by the French scientist Michel Bakalowichz in 1968, the cave is an important natural wonder.
In addition to stalactites and stalagmites, Tınaztepe Cave offers a different environment to its guests with its unchanging heat in summer and winter in its open section.
Stalactites and stalagmites, a cave with a lake inside. The cave, where daily tours are organized due to the ease of transportation, fascinates those who see it. Tinaztepe actual length of 22 kilometers, one of Turkey's longest cave. One of the three few caves in the world
There is 75 percent humidity inside the cave. An ideal cave for asthma patients

40057 eases out of the holding sidings at Guide Bridge with 5m54, the 1327 Nunnery to Longsight working on 15th September 1982.
The apparent busy nature of the sidings at Guide Bridge is misleading: the Woodhead route had closed over a year earlier in July 1981 with all class 76 locomotives withdrawn in that month. Aside from the single class 37 visible, the class 76s would remain until they were towed via the Hope valley for their last trip to the scrapyard in Rotherham.
40057 was one of two class 40s repainted by Gateshead depot in May 1982 for use on railtours. Captured here four months later, in contrast to many of its sister locomotives 40057 was still in a tidy external condition.
Note the Austin Allegro on the far left of the frame. It carries a brown paint finish which was inexplicably popular at the time.

Seven, that's the time we leave, at seven ... series
__________
Gonna take a sentimental journey
Gonna set my heart at ease
Gonna make a sentimental journey
To renew old memories
Got my bag, got my reservation
Spent each dime I could afford
Like a child in wild anticipation
Long to hear that all aboard
Seven, that's the time we leave, at seven
I'll be waitin' up at heaven
Countin' every mile of railroad track
That takes me back
Never thought my heart could be so yearny
Why did I decide to roam
Gotta take this sentimental journey
Sentimental journey home

A dolphin at dusk spending time near us at Merritt Island, Florida. Really quite amazing. We happened to find a lagoon off the beaten path and dolphins have been there every time we have gone back; and hardly any people.
View Sweet Ease Large On Black
What a gift, and it still feels "unreal" when i see a picture like this. Who knew a year ago when I moved from the Northeast to Florida I would be communing with Dolphins.
(I used the soft focus effect in Picasa for the treatment).
If I'm nearby I always try to get different views of this ruined church in Dunlewy in Co Donegal, I've yet to take one that does the place justice as on one side you have Mt Errigal and the other side have 'the Poisoned Glen and the lake - well this view caught my eye - I hope you like it too

The species is also known as wild pansy, heartsease, heart's ease, heart's delight, tickle-my-fancy, Jack-jump-up-and-kiss-me, come-and-cuddle-me, three faces in a hood, love-in-idleness.
thank you so much for letting me stretch ya El... you're such a patient person and a wonderful friend <3
Unto this wood I came
As to a nest;
Dreaming that sylvan peace
Offered the harrowed ease —
Nature a soft release
From men’s unrest.
-- Thomas Hardy
[Larger more sylvan still]
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. ~ Helen Keller.
As night falls over the high iron, rails illuminate as a pair of shiny Canadian Pacific locomotives ease train 143 into Hamilton, Ontario.
Inspired by some of the incredible photographers who've shared there strobe/speedlight work on here, I decided to foray into this world of night photography as well. Really excited to be trying something new!
There's nothing like a day on the Lakeland Fells to reset the mind I reckon. I booked a last minute day off, and headed out on the promise of a reasonable forecast. That didn't quite pan out, but it didn't matter, as just being surrounded by those wonderful views worked it's magic.
Not a great shot, but a reminder of a fantastic day. Looking back down Sourmilk Gill towards Grasmere.
Dawn is breaking and the temperature is around freezing point as the 6S45 07.25 departure to Fort William service eases slowly along the North Blyth branch observed by shunter Mike.
Problems overnight with loading process meant that the load was less than half its usual number of wagons.
What a way to end the day!
Met Ms Veda, an elderly lady, when I went to shoot the sunset after a very hectic day. She wanted to go in the water to just wet her feet, but she was afraid. I encouraged her to go in knowing that she would feel better and that I would probably get some priceless images. Here are a couple.
