Metal balls for the game Abalone

Abalone is een tactisch bordspel voor twee spelers. Het zeskantige bord dat wordt gebruikt heeft in totaal 61 vakjes, met vijf vakjes langs elke zijde. De overige 31 vakjes zijn zo verdeeld dat ze rijen tussen de vakjes op de randen vormen. In het spel zijn veertien zwarte en veertien witte metalen balletjes (kogels).

Abalone is a tactical board game for two players. The hexagonal board in use has a total of 61 squares, with five squares along each side. The remaining 31 squares are arranged to form rows between the squares on the edges. There are fourteen black and fourteen white metal balls (bullets) in the game.

I tried to catch up the beautiful warmth of a little leaf. The leaf measured aprox. 2" witdh. Even if we do not really have already autumn. This moment just felt like autumn has arrived. I gave it a try to shoot it as an dutch angle POV.

Just a fun portrait of Archie for 'Caturday'.

Captured in October 2019. Nothing beats a cardboard box! Forget about all of the expensive toys and hiding places. You can imagine what it was like packing to move home this year. We're still in the process of unpacking everything at the new place so Archie is currently living 'on' a box rather than in one! Wishing all of my Flickr friends and followers a wonderful weekend of photography. Enjoy!
