Two Cedar Waxwings are always better than one. It has been a wonderful Autumn for finding and photographing these beautiful little birds.
So, a large piece of wood was painted with this cat in window scene and then nailed to the window frame. Or vice versa. This is a duplex in Mt. Holly, and all the four windows on the side of the house have a similar treatment. There is a white cat, a mysterious woman, a big pot of flowers, a silvery mirror.....all have the painted green curtains. Very cool. The other side of the duplex is Miss Lilly's Seance Parlor, and has the same blue awning curtains in front, so maybe there is a connection.....HWW

Wegen einer Streckensperrung auf der LN6 Est Européenne, die Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke Strasbourg - Paris, verkehrte den TGV 2454 Strasbourg - Paris Est auf die Altbaustrecke und liess sich in einem Maisfeld im Abendlicht fotografieren.

Essentially, Duplex creates a Duotone effect that enhances the mood and drama of an image. So for this shot I chose an orangy colour applied to just the grasses.
