I stopped at a wildlife viewing area on my way to Ocean Beach, California and saw this. I thought who dumped this had to drive past the city dump.
40062 is seen dumped at Kingmoor in June 1982 shortly before removal to Swindon Works where it was cut up a year later. It had been in service until November the previous year when it was stopped at Kingmoor depot with a generator fault, the repair not being authorised and it was parked on the other side of the WCML next to where the former Waverley route crossed over, steps leading up to this are visible on the left of the photo.

Canadian Pacific train #287, with AC4400CWM 8060 leading, rolls down "The Dump," the connection between the Union Pacific Milwaukee Sub. and the Canadian Pacific C&M Sub., at Shermer, Illinois on July 4, 2021. Located between Glenview and Northbrook, the track, which is a downward ramp from the elevated UP line, gained its nickname due to its proximity to a former landfill.

A loaded Georgetown Railroad Dump Train crossed the Brazos River on the SP's Dallas-San Antonio (Dalsa) cutoff, paralleling Texas Hwy 21 near Varisco, TX on 26 January 1990.
VPL205 (LK51XGD) and VPL214 (LK51XGH) are seen parked outside Metroline's CELF Facility in Perivale, both vehicles have been withdrawn from service (in March and April respectively). (30/08/14)

I am trying out a few different styles in my 52 project, hope you are all feeling it.
It is -2 outside but I needed my weekly photo. Now I am feeling the cold my models/subjects have been suffering in the cold winter months. And did I mention my toes are frozen? Lol
But I am quite happy with this, it conveys the dark feeling I wanted it to.
