Due to the poor weather conditions we had here on the east coast of Scotland this weekend there has been an influx of these beautiful migrants at certain headlands. I've only ever seen one before but was lucky enough to see four birds today.

Pisa ends up being known for its iconic leaning tower - an injustice to the whole Romanesque architectural ensemble of which it is part, the piazza dei Miracoli.
Other monuments of the square, such as the duomo and the baptistery, are also in varying degrees of sinking and inclination due to the sandy soil structure.

Due to a canceled flight we got a bonus day in Qatar on our return from Thailand and Laos. It was a great visit, it couldn't have worked out any better.
Walking around the old quarter in Barcelona, with its narrow and dark streets, due to their medieval origin, I came across two unusual elements: two comfortable armchairs. I decided they were worth a photograph, so I shot. From the beginning I knew it would be a bit of a failure because the light on the right would become the main focus (does it?). However, I'm pleased about the result. I decided it had to be in monochrome, and the image is slightly grained. Please, pay attention to the windows and the arch, they are also typical in the zone.
By the way, I'm very busy currently, and I don't have the time to comment on your captures. I can only take a brief look at them. The same with the photos in the groups I joined. The situation will change soon, I hope.
Due to MOW work on the Valley Sub, today’s MNPRV was sent down the Sacramento Subdivision into Roseville. Heading just south of Pleasant Grove, I found myself with an opportunity for searchlights, reflection, and a special guest, an egret. After a few minutes of waiting, the sound of a horn could be heard in the distance and anyone could tell that the train was flying as the roaring sound of the horn and locomotives echoed through the countryside. After a few minutes, the train showed up and right after taking this photo the egret would fly away due to the train scaring it off.
