There is a "1" on top of the sign, so although I have never seen another Ross Miller location, this could possibly not be the single location. It is a rather nice neon sign but does not light these days. The business is still open but the neighborhood is in decline.
It's mostly forgotten by people today, but The Warner Theatre in Morgantown was not always just a cinema. It also had a small stage on which local groups often performed theatricals before movies were shown.
This one dates to C. 1931, and was a fun event apparently done before a showing of Eddie Cantor's film, "Whoopee"

Pretty sure this is the only neon-guy-operating-a-commercial-pressing-machine sign I've ever seen.

Considering I grew up around all of this vintage wonder, it is probably no surprise I love vintage and retro so much, is it?

Built during the Forties, this structure housed three stores: a shoemaker, a drycleaner and a carpenter. During the Fifties, the Painchaud family lived in a section and operated a grocery store in the two other sections.

The light is a bit harsh coming through the window, but I tried to minimize shadows on her face by using a silver reflector.
Trying to learn to cross-process, it isn't the best, but I'm trying....

I suppose if you want two-hour or even seventy-two-hour cleaning, don't worry. No extra charge. (Oh, no extra charge for speedy one-hour service. For me, the modern American consumer who is used to a standard service of receiving things almost immediately without a thought, it took a moment to figure out this sign. 😉)
Beside the sign, the great thing about this place is; on Tuesday and Thursday, cleaning is 30% off.
