Experimenting with drop photography Feb 2020. I have created a double drop photography rig using an Arduino and these are the first few photos created using it.

Every drop counts!
So I finally did it today! Woke up early - and that too on a Saturday morning and headed out to the Indianapolis Museum of Art gardens to do some macro photography.
And it was an awesome learning experience. The first thing that I learnt was that the perfect spheres that the dew drops form are no match to the sprinkled water drops on grass. I also realized that looking out for the largest of drops doesn't lead anywhere!
IMA gardens was great as usual. There were a lot of Daffodils and I liked the normal yellow ones and the white and yellow ones (Narcissus 'Geranium'). The second one is pictured here.
A few people have also been asking me on who do I do these shots.. I have posted the normal view in the comments..

This is a melted snowflake. I think I had the macro setting on, but I'm unsure.
Can you see my reflection in the window? How much talent does that take? LOL

I am finally getting somewhere. I have captured a reasonable crown..
I have 4 drops of red food colouring in Milk. This is in an eye dropper held at about 30 cms from the plate. The drop falls through a laser which arms the camera and focus.
the second drop cuts the laser beams and then a timer goes off and the the camera takes the images.
Using a canon A470 using a USB trigger.
