The clouds regained purchase on the sun and the light went extremely flat but I thought that I might yet be able to snag something of the scene, I admit that this was a bear to process to the point it was a scene. Anyway, this is another memento fo the scene, even to the bird perched atop the tree waiting for the sun.
Who wouldn't ignore Fast Eddie and his big toot to shoot: HIS waterfall in the mountains above Casper I will always shoot a lighting situation like this. This is magnificent light Made just for my lens. I took off Thursday evening so I could awake at his place. After wasting too much time, we bailed before three in the morning. After we parked, Eddie raced off as if I were supposed to follow HIM. Well, I headed out too but I got trapped by the dawning light so I stopped to capture some of the dawn-lit scenes; what can I do, I take pictures. I can follow Eddie later. This is my first snap of the day. I saw cool clouds and had to shoot! This is the crest above The North Fork of the Little Medicine creek. This place is probably medicine enough. After finding treasures in the dawning light, I decide to catch up and because I heard the falls, I headed downhill but got trapped where I couldn't get farther down. Up looked pretty bad too and I already got some good captures. Was I fated to end it all up here? It's a cool place anyway. Oh well, the return trip is all uphill, grin. Well, slowly I worked my way uphill even though I yelled and he didn't hear. When I was working my way up the hill, I saw Eddie traversing above and this time he heard me. I have been here before, between a rock and a hard place, nothing new. I took me a while more but I caught up as he was getting in the Blaster. We were off like a shot again; more territory is fine by me if I can grab more of my style of pictures. Eddie and I usually shoot different pictures in the same place. All this and Eddie decided late afternoon light might be better. SHEESH!
Off like a shot again as we searched venues on our backtrack to Medicine Bow and another surveillance. Are you in our spotlight, grin? At medicine Bow we toured the museum and the famous hotel; first the bar!
