I am finally getting somewhere. I have captured a reasonable crown..
I have 4 drops of red food colouring in Milk. This is in an eye dropper held at about 30 cms from the plate. The drop falls through a laser which arms the camera and focus.
the second drop cuts the laser beams and then a timer goes off and the the camera takes the images.
Using a canon A470 using a USB trigger.

have an unexpected day off due to the ice. so here's an extra shot today. i know my stream is getting rather drop-centric, i will try and recitfy this soon. hope you like this.
Dropped by Rockefeller Center on 11.03.13. The rink was already open and the Christmas Tree marker had a date - December 4!
Spade McSoil has a mountain of dirt he wants to move to build a sports arena. There's only one really good spot to place that dirt. Boat owners are really going to be upset!
