Evening photo on Montana's Highway 200, east of Missoula. The only camera I had with me at the time was an old point & shoot. To quote another photographer I know, "The best camera is the one you have with you at the moment."
Randsburg, Ca.
On our way home from the recent trip, we were looking for a spot to stop and have a picnic lunch. I've been to Randsburg previously, so when we came to the turnoff leading a short distance to the town, I took it knowing there would be a place to lunch. The town is called a ghost town, but it has 69 residents according to the census. On this day you would swear that it was truly a ghost town. No tourists, and not a soul to be seen. Pretty eerie.
Sorry for not being very active. Posting one last summer shot, as Autumn is starting today. Getting ready for a cycling trip in Provence.

The days are short in November in Iceland. We were driving through the mountainous roads beside the northern fjords as the sun began to set.
Another of the beautiful back roads of Nova Scotia, which just happens to be on my way home. I miss being able to be on Flickr more often and please know that I miss all of you and your beautiful work. I really appreciate the ongoing visits and comments, even though I haven’t been here. It warms my heart. I hope you are all taking care of you and yours during these very trying times.
The texture I used on this image is from Florabella.

A remarkable photo tour last year into the heathland through fresh snow. I hope we'll get another possibility this winter.

I've sorely neglected the 52 week challenge group, sorry! Chris's Edinburgh night scene reminded me of some slightly tipsy driving shots from earlier this year (I wasn't the driver).
