Things I like: fountain pens and pencils.
Here are my TWSBI Vac 700R Iris fountain pen; a graphite pencil, a Leuchtturm HB pencil in a Kutsuwa HiLine pencil extender; mechanical pencil is a Faber-Castell TK-Fine Executive 0.7mm.
The shadows for the fountain pen were particularly challenging, because the pen barrel and cap are transparent and the light shone through them. The lines between the pens are my attempt to depict the grain of the wooden table the pencils and pen were on - an old dining table with much abused scratched varnish.

Particles additively blend to the current frame as they move around under the influence of a vector force field calculated using Perlin noise.
Recently I came across an innovated form of art called Zentangle.
Among other things Zentangle is a meditative practice recommended for relaxation and for stress relief . Rather like a doodle the emphasis is on relaxing and allowing the patterns to form with out too much contrivance. Usually rendered in black ink after a while I tended to prefer the addition of coloured pencils. Here are a few of my attempts at Zantangles or drawings inspired by Zentangles.
