Here's my first attempt at drawing a dragon head.
It's pretty much a simple japanese style dragon. I obviously had some trouble with the scales, but once I iron out those issues, it should be pretty easy. So far though I think my first effort isn't too bad.
I did this using a zendala downloaded from Erin's website, thebrightowl.blogspot.com/2012/04/zendala-dare-2.html. It was my intention to enter her challenge; but I'm not sure I will now. The reason is there are soooo many mistakes on this one. I might do another one, I have a week! The tangles I used are Paradox, Hollibaugh, Mumsy, and what was supposed to be a "Bumps" variation. When I finished I realized I had done the Bumps all wrong, and on the Mumsy, I got lost while I was drawing it, and I don't think it's a real Mumsy. Oh, well. Live and learn. I'm taking a zentangle class (my first one) next Tuesday, so I'd still have time to do another challenge.
I've never been to Cardiff! I was on a plane and sneakily tore out a page from the in-flight magazine to draw on.. the image was from the same.

Having young children myself, I have been guilty of buying plastic rubbishy toys that are never played with and the making and dumping of these products, has a horrific detrimental effect on the worlds environment.
The Polar Ice Caps disappearing all together and the problems this is going to have on humans and wildlife has reawakened a conscience in me.
Penguins numbers are rapidly deteriorating every year and I chose to stick to this theme using Hello Kitty as the arch-nemesis.
