Some of this stuff I can't identify now, but this is a visual record of all the stuff I remember leaving behind when J and I moved to Seattle. Some of it ended up at thrift stores. A few things stayed with the house. Most of it went to friends or family.

I've been wanting to do a Lalaloopsy inspired drawing of me & Mal for a while... I'm pretty happy with how it's coming together, I can't wait to colour it in :D

I was at a local coffee shop and drew this young lady doing something on her phone. I don’t think she saw me drawing her.

Summer in Copenhagen

I sketched this with a .5 Micron black pen in an hour today.

This was drawn in-situ leaning against a bollard, it took about an hour and was a rather complex set of marks trying to capture the fall and the perspective of the buildings on the hill.

More basic drawing from my Re-teach-yourself-to-draw in your old age project. It's strange to get back into it, the hardest part is to not fall back into the tricks and cheats I've picked up over the years. It's surprising how many there are when you start looking for them.

I have to say, besides a quite few mess up's, I am quite happy with this picture.

GO CARMNE!

A gift for my Uncle, I hope he likes it!

Perched on a fence, ready to use his sketch pad at Bryce National Park in Utah.

With the southbound out of the way, I started sizing up my money shot of 357 crossing the Fox. Broad St is actually quite narrow without parking so I parked near the river and waited. There was just enough notice when the train was close to reposition here, park in the street, and get my shot without any fuss. July 21, 2024.

Frankly so much time has passed since I drew this that I don't remember what kind of truck this is. I think the chassis is an International of some sort but I have no idea about the body.

I'd always admired people who drew on planes.... so I tried it. Not as exciting as I'd hoped.

I made this drawing sometime in the mid-1980s.

Hola.

hello. I draw but rarely share anything of what I'm or I've been working on so I will try to change that showing what I've been into.

Ironically this is for a project I can't talk much because it's still secret but it's obviously connected to cooking. I'll tell you more when I get news about it ;)

Blogged at: cmoorelife.com/2013/09/09/its-raining/ I've used a limited palette of Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium red, French ultramarine, Indigo, Yellow Ochre and Aureolin.
