Some sketches from last October. Just a bunch of people off the top of my dome. Oh, and me drawing.

I used to wait with great excitement to see the daffodils begin to erupt from the hard New York soil. There was a faithful patch of yellow beauties that would spring up by my bedroom window each season. I remember brushing the leaves away for the bright green shoots that emerged to signal the end of the cold and harsh winter.

 

Daffodils still make me smile and create a yearning inside that brings back fond memories of living in Bear Mountain State Park.

 

Here is a new journal entry that I did in my large Moleskine with pencil and watercolors. I wish you all a beautiful, healthy and hopeful Easter season.

 

And to those of you that live further north than Florida... enjoy the daffodils!
