Our first day in Florida we were kidnapped by Pirates. Not to worry they were friendly and only made us use water guns, limbo, and have our faces painted.

Throughout the theme of "Sense Quest," a popular topic was that of those with disabilities. Students were eager to learn the finger signs of the sign language alphabet, and were very impressed that many people use their hands to speak instead of only their mouths! They worked together to contribute one letter each in spelling out a relevant quote by Pablo Picasso, "To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."
