I just got home from a couple of days of travel. While I was away, I decided to pick up a sketchbook and see if I remember how to draw. The jury is still out on that one. One internet cookie to anyone who can guess where I was!

I love it when you can go to a store with your own bottle or container to purchase products in the quantity that you want without having to go with the pre-packaged stuff. In this case it is an oil and vinegar store in Antwerp where you can buy next to ready-made bottles, cans, tubes and glasses your own speciality oil by holding your bottle under the noozle and taking as much or as little as you want.

Cornucopia Draw in the northeastern foothills of Otero Mesa, 32.33462 -105.31535, Otero County, New Mexico, 25 Jan 2015. Rhus microphylla, Agave parryi, Bahia pedata, Gutierrezia microcephala, Heterosperma pinnatum, Senecio flaccidus, Thymophylla pentachaeta, Verbesina encelioides, Chilopsis linearis, Lepidium montanum, Cylindropuntia leptocaulis, Opuntia phaeacantha, Aristida adscensionis, Bouteloua barbata, Bouteloua gracilis, Chloris virgata, Enneapogon desvauxii, Eragrostis cilianensis, Eragrosis mexicana, Eragrostis pectinacea, Setaria leucopila, Fallugia paradoxa, Larrea tridentata, etc.
Moving right along. I'm not sure how I'm going to do that swim cap and goggles, but I'll try. I hope this is a good likeness so far. I still have some detailing to complete and then have to go back in and darken it up.

Inspired by listening to Tim Curry's reading of "A Christmas Carole" and based on a photo of a puppet head I saw online somewhere.
I did this with Adobe's Illustrator Draw Ipad app which I like. This is my first time using the app and its a little odd to control the strokes but I will doing some more with it to see what I can make.
