This summer the weather and the farmers have gotten ahead of me and harvested almost all of the wheat before I had time to get some great shots. This field was harvested the very next day, and all the others had already been done. You snooze, you loose they say! :)
Shot in 590nm Infrared, using my Sony Zeiss 55mm F1.8 lens.

two rocks in the sea. one small, one vast. the clouds don't care which is which – they swallow both the same. at the edge of the island, the world simplifies: stone, water, sky. nothing else matters here. ✨
For the first time since moving to Sundre a month ago, I went for a walk just to see what's in the neighborhood. Taken near the town of Sumba on the island of Suðuroy. The waves crashing against the cliffs were absolutely stunning to watch. It was hard to choose the best one from all the shots taken that morning.
a dusting of snow on the higher hills and an ominous sky drew me away from my original plan to drive north. I headed west instead, a view of Hoy always wins. If you can't be over there then at least you can look at it.
A dramatic scene of a rural farmhouse with a young boy sitting on a fence, gazing at an ominous, approaching storm. The sky is filled with dark, swirling supercell, creating a sense of impending danger and awe. The vast, open countryside and the rustic setting highlight the contrast between the serene moment and the powerful forces of nature about to unfold.

The Cadini di Misurina viewpoint in the Tre Cime area is one of the most famous social-media spots in the Dolomites, known for its narrow rocky ledge and dramatic “floating” view over the jagged Cadini peaks. From there, you also get sweeping views toward Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Monte Piana, which is why it’s often described as one of the most photogenic viewpoints in the region.

Witnessing this fleeting, dramatic glow was an unforgettable experience. I hope you enjoy this golden view from Nagasaki.
