Another that I have not shared from my past. This is Death Valley in February 2004 in the middle of the Stovepipe Wells dunes.

Thanks to Leon Oosthuizen for ideas and editing on this image - I had an earlier version, but this has so much more life :-)

I came by the pasture of the Highland cattle yesterday. It was around noon but very cloudy and quite dark. I took a couple of photos but most of them turned out rather "blah" and therefore I used a texture on this one to pep it up a little bit.:)

I followed my instinct, and I included the pole, I guess it was to make it less usual and more dramatic. When I discovered the scene, I shot it 10 times with different point of view.... you can have a look at another point of view in my new Weblog, which is still at the "beta" stage or if you prefer still in its infancy!
