"When you do something noble and beautiful and nobody noticed, do not be sad. For the sun every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps."

A small decoration object with some dramatic lighting.

Week 18/52: Low Key I decided to round out this week with a great chiaroscuro headshot from a session I did for a friend last year. Gotta love it when the best one comes right at the beginning, when you're still dialing in the settings!

and INDIGO EVENINGS… and the beauty of skeletal trees

The weather had been fierce the whole day, the wind winding and hounding around the house, pulling at everything, with rain lashing against the windows.

Here the sun sets at 18h now, so dark very early, it seemed like we'd never had a day, when I noticed a bit of golden sheen, I looked and this greeted me. An Indigo sky with a strip of pale light.

I grabbed my camera, opened the window and took the image.

We live on the side of a hill, it glides down into the Dale and climbs back up.

Wish you a glorious day and thank you for your visits, M, (*_*)

Heading North on I95 somewhere in the middle of Florida. On our way to the Ichetucknee River for some tubing.

Pay attention to the images in the upper left part of the picture.

Last night I ventured up Loughrigg Fell in the Lake District with my good buddy Tony Higginson. We climbed up close to the 1,000ft summit that gave grand vistas of the surrounding scenery which were breath-taking as always.

In the distance are the dramatic lines of the iconic Langdale Pikes and above it the colours were building nicely before they dropped away. The sky was amazing, the clouds so purposeful and dominant. I knew that they would look fantastic on camera and I'm delighted to see that on this occasion I was correct.

I hope you all like the view of the Langdales. Have a great day guys and girls and feel free to SHARE this post if you wish :D
