the prosaicly named doubletree "beachcomber" (nestles next to the big mama hotels on the beach (loewes, royal palm) but delivers perfectly well for 160 bucks a night. great pool and beach front, nice staff. and best of all, a warm cookie on checkin.

Pompano’s Restaurant and the Palm Court Deli serve breakfast, lunch and dinner onsite at the Doubletree Universal Resort Orlando. Guests can also relax at the pool side bar, lobby piano lounge and Scuba Joe’s Bar and Grill, where they’ll find good times and big screen TVs.

Was invited by DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New York Times Square West on 06.07.17 to enjoy the views from their rooftop. The hotel is situated in the Times Square area and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge has great views of midtown west all the way to the southern end, as well as the new development of the Hudson Yards.
