Le Domaine Joly de Lotbinière est un parc-jardin de style pittoresque situé sur le bord du fleuve Saint-Laurent à la Pointe-Platon entre Sainte-Croix et Lotbinière au Québec.

The Juncos are wonderful to watch and photograph .. when they are still..
Today, Jan 9, 2017 not a thing has melted .. perhaps when we get above freezing!
My husband said, '' it was 5 degrees and went up to 7 degrees --- not a bit of difference to me .. cold is cold ''..
But I stayed inside .. nice and warm.

Le Domaine des oiseaux à Mazères en Ariège est un havre de paix pour les oiseaux migrateurs qui s'arrêtent pour quelques jours afin de reprendre des forces avant de poursuivre leur voyage vers leurs sites d'hivernage en automne ou de nidification au printemps.
Il y reste quelques oiseaux sédentaires, notamment une colonie de cigognes blanches (environ 25 individus) qui partage les différents plans d'eau avec d'autres animaux comme des chevaux et des ânes .
A 2001 installed bronze sculpture "Numbers are the Language of Nature" on Domain Walk in Auckland Domain.
The sculpture is by Italian born artist Chiara Corbelletto, a graduate of Modigliani Art School, Novara, in 1973 and gained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Milan, 1979.
In 1981 Corbelletto moved to New Zealand.
For this sculpture Corbelletto used the concept of tessellation, a pattern created by repeating a shape over a surface.
Corbelletto fashioned a three dimensional form made up of twenty identical bronze modules.

The Domain is an upscale mixed use development in north Austin, TX. This is a view of one of the streets in the shopping area. This used to be the main part, but apartments and condos have been going up like crazy. It isn't far from where I worked before retirement, and the new residents have contributed greatly to the ridiculous traffic congestion in the area now.
Ich habe mich entschieden, die Fotos, die in Chernobyl entstanden sind, der Allgemeinheit ohne jegliche Lizenzansprüche frei zur Verfügung zu stellen. Grund für diese Entscheidung ist, dass die Fotos die Gefahren der Atomenergie bildlich und eindrücklich darstellen, gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass seit dem Supergau schon 30 Jahre vergangen sind. Ich hoffe die Fotos geben dem einen oder anderen einen Denkanstoss seinen persönlichen Energiehaushalt zu reflektieren und zu überdenken. Die Strahlung die in Tschernobyl freigesetzt wurde ist Heutzutage, nachweislich auf der ganzen Welt verteilt. Die Problematik der weltweit eingesetzten Atomenergie betrifft uns somit alle.
