This pitbull pup was an absolute blast. He stuck his nose right up in my camera and I got fortunate enough, seeing as I had it on automatic focus, that it chose to give me perfect detail of the nose. Regardless, it is one of my favorite pictures so far in my puppy series. He was the most photogenic of the group. Puppies really do convey some of the best emotions because they are so raw. It's quite fun to get this close.
Daisy is the grande dame around here. She is the oldest of our three dogs and is getting on in dog years. She doesn't run, she prances. She and Lola jump our broken fence and head our for a little adventure in the fields every day. They both wear pink coats to ward off the chill.
Boxers are related to the bulldog breed of dogs, and are more commonly brown in colour. This one white with black markings is quite unusual. Boxers were first exhibited in Germany in 1895.
Our dogs Stacy (left) and Suzie. We took this with out new ProPhoto D1 studio light and a softbox. The dogs are sitting on a table. I'm just outside the image with a dog treat, which they are staring at. Gary took the photo.
Took a trip to the local animal shelter and here's what I found.
"Won't someone please take me home?"
I'm sad because the baseball playoffs precluded K9 COPS and kept me from observing hound heroes in action Hounding Around: Walter the Hound's World
Roscoe is a Jack Russell Terrier. He couldn't resist the urge to explore the area while I placed a geocache.

This is the most adorable puppy I have ever met. Her name is Ida and she is the bosses dog.
She had a grand time going through my toy bag and she found her favorite right away. A pink screaming monkey.

About a year and a half ago, I adopted this little sugar lump! She’s one of the only dogs I’ve ever had that loved me back, and loved me more than my mom, ha-ha! They usually go runnin’ to her.
This is taken with a film camera, though I don’t know if it’s my Minolta or my Canon (though, if I had to guess, I’d say it was my Canon) - it’s also, as always with my film photographs, unedited!
