Here we have Gunner (brindle), Daisy (pit bull mix), and Ivan (corgi) running around after the ball. Ivan is at a clear disadvantage what with the short stubby legs, but he makes up for it with enthusiasm and heart.

my current nemesis who walks her dogs without a leash in the local parks and yells to everyone that her dogs - who charge up on you - are harmless. Of course my dog, Bailey, get all defensive and growly and she yells at me telling me that her dogs are nice and what the hell is wrong with your dog?
Of course there's a leash law in Asheville, but it doesn't apply to her because, well, she's an asshole.
Our son's terrier and believe me it is real ratter.
What a character but like all terriers virtually uncontrollable but loveable.

Historical Note: In March of 1887, at seven years old, Anne Sullivan from the Perkins Institution and Massachusetts School for the Blind in Boston arrived to educate her. In May of 1888, Sullivan brought Keller to Perkins to further her education there. According to letters Keller wrote in 1887-1888, Keller and her sister enjoyed playing with Jumbo, who was described as “very strong and faithful.” Jumbo is also described as retrieving ducks on hunting trips with her father.

The Paparazzi Dogs have settled at the Ruth Wittenberg Triangle at the intersection of Greenwich Avenue, Avenue of the Americas, and Eighth Street. They were created by Australian husband and wife team of Gillie and Marc.
Their blood stained the land,as the served with pride.
A duty to their master,they stood side by side.
From the sky,to the sea,through the vast open land,together they fought - both animal and man.
They walked together midst a bomb spangled field,both dog and handler,neither one would yield.
The bond and the friendship they shared through the war,will live and be remembered for ever more.
So remember them kindly,as you walk through your life,
for they too served proudly to help make things right.

Hi everyone,
I am just thrilled to have you meet Belle, my new little Maltapoo puppy! She is just adorable and has brought sunshine into our home.She's 9 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds, just a litle bundle of joy!
Do not really know how those sticks smells….but when Lassie see them she turns into a crazy wolf!
She runs like crazy and she never gets tired of fetching them!
When there a stick it must be Lassie’s!
Maybe Candy can try to pick it up but then Lassie knows how to work the situation out: a little warning bite to Candy who let the stick fall down and it’s Lassie’s!

Remi and my Beluga. Kathy wanted to borrow a leader, so I lent her Beluga-boy. He proved to be a bit rusty on his gee-haws, but he's really good at holding a team out tight. Behind are dogs belonging to a friend, Salty and Pepper. (not my Salty!).
Look at the feet and legs of the leaders, they are perfectly matched, and so very happy in their element. I shot this from my sled, crouched down on the runners and facing backward while moving forward.
Ikaria, one of the most beautiful islands in Greece I've seen so far. The people are gorgeous, the landscape is rough and beautiful and you can feel the relaxed atmosphere. However the dogs on this island broke my heart.. The goatshepperds on this island use the dogs to prevent the goats from getting away but the circumstances are just terrible. This dog has 4 puppies, the mum is chained and has no possibiltie to correct the puppies. When we stopped here, the puppies came running towards us and the mother went crazy... So afraid for her puppies.. We went up to her and she is just the sweetest. The only thing they had was old bread and green water. There are people on the island who feed them but is seems not enough..
A couple of years ago there were more then 100 dogs tied up like this on Ikaria but the people from Ikaria went to court and the shepperds had to pay a fine, offcourse the did not want to pay the fine and instead they set the dogs free but now we already counted more then 11 chained dogs.
