Commander Canaan looked out across the barren landscape from the top of his Havoc MK1 tank. It had taken almost two weeks to cross this region, known locally as the "Desert of Bones", but at last the enemy were in sight. During that time he'd heard no complaints from his dog soldiers, but then again, they were mercenaries and mercenaries weren't paid to complain.

This vignette was created for the Eurobricks Forbidden Animal Planet contest. The requirement of the contest was to take a LEGO animal and incorporate it as a prominent element in a science fiction setting.

Rusty's breeders invited us over yesterday to have a look at their pups, who are just a day short of being 8 weeks old! Aussie shepherd (of course), and all so stunning, and of course adorable! They also wanted us to bring Rusty to say hi :-)
The Mighty Titan, injured in a freak bumpy-ball throwing accident is now home resting comfortably.
All things considered, he is doing fine. He is on pain killers and antibiotics. He's also getting spoiled eating dog cookies. That's all he wants, and he's getting them. I guess he's chewing on one side for the time being. He should be back in action within a week.
His uncle Ken has been banned from Titan's bumpy balls.

My daughter and I saw The Winery Dogs in concert. These guys really rocked and put on a great show! On the left on Bass is Billy Sheehan, Mike Portnoy on drums and Richie Kotzen on Guitar.

The Paparazzi dogs now at at the Ruth Wittenberg Triangle at the intersection of Greenwich Avenue, Avenue of the Americas, and Eighth Street. Created by Australian husband and wife team of Gillie and Marc, The Paparazzi Dogs have cameras aimed at the doors to C. O. Bigelow Apothecaries, the oldest surviving apothecary in the United States.
Yea yea, we've been procrastinating in taking pictures (okay, gotta admit I was procrastinating ha ha!)... then, to my luck.. these past three days we were showered with the rain!
The grass loves the rain, but not Lucky. He hates the rain, he hates walking in the rain. It's weird because he loves water, but not when it's pouring from the sky. Wolvie (our other golden) LOVEs the rain, but hates playing with water.
He's been waiting for the rain to stop.
Too bad Lucky, no walk when it's raining...
