On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
LPFD Engine 394 is built on an International 4800 chassis.

The first generation Dodge RAM trucks and vans were introduced in 1981 Dodge kept the previous generation's model designations: D, B; or Ram indicated two-wheel drive while the W or Power Ram indicated four-wheel drive. Just like Ford, Dodge used 150 to indicate a one-half ton truck, 250 for a three-quarter ton truck, and 350 for one-ton truck. Externally, the first-generation Rams were facelifted versions of the previous generation Dodge D-Series pickups introduced in 1972. The new model introduced larger wraparound tail lamps, single rectangular headlamps, and squared-off body lines powered by either Slant 6 or V8 engines

I don't know what that contraption is, but apparently it has been long overdue, and it's arrival means they might just finish this job before Xmas.

Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Engine 490 (E490) is one of the Patrol units. It is a 2004 Ferrara built on a Ford F450 chassis.
I like the graphics on this Nevada Department of Public Safety Fire Marshal unit. This pickup is a 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 quad cab. I didn't see any emergency lights anywhere on it but would be surprised if this vehicle is not equipped to respond Code 3. So there's probably LED flashers hidden on it somewhere. Photographed in Las Vegas.
Apenas para deixar bem claro (rs), a Rural e o Audi não estavam em nosso grupo, por sinal se alguém quiser comprar uma Rural, esta da foto estava a venda.
Maybe someone slipped on a loose Hatchimal, or a misguided attempt to ride a Razor Hovertrax went terribly wrong, but a Fire-Medic is coming to the rescue.

I don't know what kind of work they do, whether it be Pest Control, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Industrial Smoothing, but judging by a squeaky clean truck, you can count on Stanton to Do the Job Right

Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Engine 498 (E498) is one of the Patrol units. It a 2012 Burton's rig built on a Dodge Ram 5500 chassis.
Round these parts, they get a lot more calls for feral cats, nuisance gators, rampaging opossums, and invasive boas, but these officers do handle the occasional turkey related run.
